Complex Change and Process Management
Sometimes you know where you want to go, but you aren’t sure
how to get there. And you want to be sure the rest of your organization
works with you every step of the way.
Working with you, PCG designs processes to manage complex change
that result in a more productive
organization.
The processes actively involve your people – teaching them
how to think more systematically in creating the desired future,
providing them with quality performance improvement skills, teaching
change and transition management methods, gaining their contribution
and commitment, and enabling them to utilize their knowledge and
skills in future situations.

Team Development & Team Intervention
Team Development
Work done in organizations is often complex enough that it needs
a team to get it done. Good performance by a group of people doesn’t
just happen by chance.
PCG guides groups through the stages of team
development, addressing their unique needs and
building their skills to contribute as part of a high
performing team, maximizing team effectiveness.
Team Intervention
Working in teams can be challenging.
At times, good people find themselves working at
cross purposes. Conflict might arise within or between teams. A
team might not feel supported by the larger organization. Teams
hit plateaus, sensing they could
do more but are not sure how.
PCG’s assessment tools bring all team members into the fold,
to share responsibility for improving team performance. Based on
assessment findings, a customized intervention is planned and implemented
with the group.
Team members participate in a process that addresses the immediate
issues while increases the team’s ability to manage future
conflict and problems.
PCG works closely with the team leader to increase their ability
to sustain the agreements developed.

Strategic and Operational Planning
Every successful organization has a unifying strategy for the future
and a practical plan that lays out how everyone contributes. Defining
that strategy and agreeing on actions is not always as simple as
the books make it sound.
PCG will work with you to build a strategic plan from scratch or
enhance your existing plan.

Meeting and Retreat Facilitation
Retreats…Focus groups…Large group events (full management
teams or entire organizations)… Process improvement teams…Problem
solving teams…Planning sessions…
A “neutral, objective” facilitator often makes the
difference in everyone participating fully and with confidence that
all points of view will be shared respectfully. PCG’s ability
to set a constructive, positive environment that encourages full
participation is distinctive of our meeting facilitation skills.
In addition to facilitation, PCG will help you plan and organize
your session: clarifying the session’s purpose and intended
outcomes, planning the agenda, leading discussion and participation
activities, and creating minutes.
Our range of experience is with a variety of groups: executive
leadership, supervisors, work/project teams, employee and volunteer
groups.

Assessments, Focus Groups
and
Other Input Processes
Organization leadership often needs to know the pulse of their
organization, gain input on a complex issue or obtain feedback before
implementing a major change.
PCG utilizes a variety of assessment methods to help organizations
objectively understand the issues at hand. We are experienced in
designing and implementing customized surveys, interviews and focus
groups for our clients.
PCG designs interactive data gathering sessions that solicit candid
feedback while increasing participants’ knowledge of the issue.
We work with you to: define the purpose and desired outcomes; select
the most effective method to gain the information you need; develop
and write effective questions; design the most effective method
to explore the questions; facilitate the process; formulate the
feedback into a concise report to decision makers that recommends/provides
direction for the next phase of the project or situation.
